I could not be more pleased with the entire experience I had with AiRCO. From my first call, to when the plumber finished the job my expectations were exceeded. The plumber was extremely thorough and polite, explaining every step of the way in terms I could understand. He was patient as I explained my unique situation and he made sure all my questions were answered. He even went above and beyond by helping me understand aspects of my system that weren't necessarily related to the particular job. The AirCo team was fantastic. My A/C started going out just as temps were peaking into consecutive triple digits. They came out same-day and had a great priced solution at my door 2 days later!. They were fast, friendly, and did a wonderfuly clean and professional job installing my replacement A/C. The team walked me through the process step by step and helped me setup my new thermostat. My 17-yr-old air-conditioner had the nerve to up and die on July 4th. I came home from the lake to an 86-degree house. R-22 Freon gone; 1977 ductwork in need of a total overhaul. After speaking with about eight companies and having four of them come out to give me estimates, I decided to go with AiRCO. Jeremy Extein at AiRCO took his time with me and walked me through all my options. I really appreciate how thorough he was and his willingness to answer all my questions. I chose a Daikin Fit 4-ton DX6VS condenser with the DM80VC furnace and miles of new flex-duct. (I have a one-story, 2,400 sq ft. house.) David and his amazing crew arrived promptly less than a week after my A/C died. (I had a neighbor’s portable A/C unit in my bedroom so I could survive.) In two days, they had removed my old, busted A/C and replaced it, my furnace, and all my ducts with a fantastic, super-quiet new system. They completely reconfigured the unit in my attic so it can be serviced properly. (The old one had been Frankensteined by a flipper and was very difficult to get around to access the maintenance panel.) The Daiken is now on the left at the top of my attic stairs with plenty of floorspace to work on it. I have these octopus-arms of silver flex-duct running everywhere that are strapped to the underside of my roof for better airflow! The unit in the side yard is tiny with the fan discharge on the side. I can hardly hear it running when I’m standing right next to it. I am no longer bothering my neighbors with the sound of my old unit going through its death throws. Most importantly, my house is cold again! I love the new thermostat on the wall that comes with the system. It’s super easy to program from my phone, even when I’m not home. I have waited a bit to write this review so I can confirm that my summer Austin Energy costs have decreased by $50 a month. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I spoke to many companies over the phone and listened to several while standing in my side-yard. None of them matched the knowledge and professionalism of AiRCO. After getting several quotes for a new furnace and A/C, I decided to go with AiRCO and so glad I did! Unlike some other companies which I felt used scare tactics in an attempt to oversell/upsell me on a new system, AiRCO took the time to understand my current system and my personal heating and a/c usage in order to present a solution that worked within my budget. The installation crew was fast, professional and left all work areas clean. They even re-routed the duct system during the install so the unit will be easier to access and service in the future and installed a new breaker after realizing during installation that the one there was bad. All in all, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to saving some money on monthly electric bills this summer!

Great experience with AirCo! Team members are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They are also patient to answer questions and go through all the details after new AC units installed. Stuart, estimator, is experienced and trustworthy. I feel comfortable to talk to him. I am happy with the final price.

Their technician was extremely thorough and came back the next day with his manager to advise on two of our four units that had issues. On the second service call they found a gas leak coming from our tankless water heater and immediately sent someone from their plumbing department to fix it. We are going to need to have quite a bit of work performed to bring all four zones into optimal condition. They seem to be sensitive to the expense of all these repairs and we are planning a schedule of repairs prioritizing the most urgent. We also hired someone from their electrical department who was both courteous and thorough in inspecting concerns brought up by the home inspector. The electrician addressed the urgent and safety concerns. I will call Airco again for both HVAC and electrical work.

Within only a few hours from contacting AORCO and requesting a service call, Jon Paul arrived. He did a troubleshoot of our issue and a thorough analysis to make sure nothing else was broken othercthan our fan. Je will install a new fan tomorrow.

Annual tune up complete. As usual, service person (Brandon) was on time and professional. We get great peace of mind during the hot Texas summers, having an efficient unit installed and maintained by AIRCO.
